Renovation of the primary school building in Moravská Nová Ves following the tornado
On June 24, 2021, a devastating tornado struck South Moravia, causing extensive damage to property, infrastructure, and public buildings, including educational facilities. The primary school in Moravská Nová Ves suffered significant damage, which made further operation impossible.

The project involved a comprehensive renovation of the school building, which was significantly damaged by a natural disaster. The goal was not only to restore the original state but also to improve the technical standards and comfort of the building. The scope of work included:
- High-voltage electrical installations – complete replacement of electrical wiring, sockets, lighting, and the main distribution board.
- Low-voltage electrical installations – restoration of data networks, school intercom, security system, and fire alarm system.
- Plastering and painting – new stucco and painting throughout all school premises.
- HVAC – installation of a forced ventilation system with heat recovery to ensure a healthy indoor environment.
- Flooring – replacement of floor coverings, including subfloors.
- Plasterboard ceilings – new suspended ceilings with integrated lighting and acoustic elements.
- Interior doors – replacement of all internal doors, including frames.
- Facade and sandstone plinth – repair of insulation, new plastering, and professional renovation of the historical plinth.

The project commenced in March 2022 and was completed in August 2022, in time for the start of the school year. The work was carried out in several stages:
- Dismantling and demolition work – removal of damaged structures and installations.
- Structural work – plastering, flooring, preparation for installations.
- Technical installations – electrical, HVAC, heating.
- Finishing work – painting, ceilings, doors, facade.
Thanks to careful coordination and the dedication of all trades, the project was completed without delay and within budget.
